4.3.7 Until 30 June 2020, teachers holding permanent units (including permanent additional units) will be entitled to progress in accordance with point 4.2.3, beyond their qualification ceiling, on the G3 base scale, provided that the rates of remuneration change within one hundred and eighty (180) after the signing of the Collective Financial Management Agreement (FI). In accordance with Annex “E” of the FI Collective Agreement, the rates before the salary change are paid on a flat-rate basis: this scale applies to teachers with limited teaching power. 4.22.1 If the Secretary of Education approves the appointment of a teacher who is not a principal to the position of leader of Kāhui Ako, clause 3.7 (3) of the Collective Agreement for Secondary School Principals shall apply to the teacher, in addition to the relevant provisions of that agreement. Note: The reduction can be achieved in conjunction with the overstaffing process, but it is not sufficient to require the school to do the processes described in clause 3.9.3 of this Agreement. (c) has completed a three-year teaching activity at the highest level of the basic salary scale of teachers trained for the teacher`s qualification group; and certain benefits enjoyed by UNM members are not included in the collective agreement, but are granted by joint pension and benefit trust committees: a collective agreement is a written and binding contract between the Union and the employer that sets out the terms and conditions of employment. The Manitoba Nurse`s Union continually seeks to improve working conditions, wages and benefits by negotiating new collective agreements. Please see the rates in the AV collective agreement. 4.4.1 Short-term relief credits used in accordance with point 3.2.5(a) shall be paid up to 1/190 of the appropriate annual salary per working day (including vacation pay); Provided that the maximum daily rate for auxiliaries with no more than 6 weeks does not exceed 1/190 of level 6 of the basic scale – trained teachers or level 10 of the basic scale – of untrained teachers. Some groups and levels have pay scales or zones where there are barriers beyond which an employee`s salary can only grow after confirmation that the employee has acquired the required qualifications. (b) Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, a teacher shall be kept at the top of the salary scale for his or her qualifying group. d) If, on 30 July 1, 2020, they will remain on track and continue to benefit from further increases, whether or not they retain their permanent unit, from their anniversary date until the G3 ceiling of the base scale is reached.

Some collective agreements provide for lump sum payments to workers instead of retroactive wage increases or compensatory bonuses. Unless otherwise provided by the Treasury Board, these lump sum payments must also be paid to workers excluded from the collective agreement as managerial or confidential exclusions, although they are classified in an occupational category or level covered by the collective agreement. . . .
